Faces flushed,
skin-on-skin contact and
frantic kisses in the
sloppy night.

Bits and pieces all
wrapped up in
(un)poetic lips, burning
hotter than the sun.

"I don't give a
damn. I never want this
to stop. Oh, god, please,
this can't stop."

No care for the dimming of
the stars or the
moans that could wake
the dead.

An intake of breath;
exhaling and eyes fluttering
open, pulse racing and
body shivering.

Misery settling on quivering
lips like a pandemic gliding
on blackened butterfly wings—
it was all just in her head.
Carpe diem: seize the day. Can also be used to describe someone with no care for the future.

Something I wrote a really long time ago. I haven't been in the writing mood and decided to just post this even though it's dumb.

My dreams, at times, can be extremely shameful and detailed; especially when involving people who don't exist. This was one of them.

Pretty awful to pretend carnal things are poetic. Pretty awful to pretend YOLO is Carpe Diem. Ah, I know I shouldn't be saying this here, but it's that I liked your thing about Paris so much that my disappointment with this one just couldn't be ignored. Don't take it personally.

I love the poetry in your writing. You make everything sound beautiful. I dreams about people who don't exist too. I guess It's because I honestly love fictional characters more then anyboy I ever met. I'm a very shy person, people tend to make me feel insecure . I'm working on being more social though! It does suck when you wake up from a wet dream. I really do enjoy them...

Wet dreams suck when you wake up! >w>

It's not dumb!  The imagery was good!  And the twist at the end was very welcome.

But that's why you write them down to think of later... ^_^

I liked the poem though!

Carpe Diem = YOLO
Do ut des is what you should live by.  It's better if a bit self serving.

From your comment it sounds like you have trust issues...

Writing is never dumb.  And this is pretty good.  Not being blessed with any sex dreams etc of late I would have to say this does trigger a lot of older memories though.  :-)
Surprised there is no mention of the muffling pillow to drown out the moans.  :-)  Still very good though.

Honestly, this sounds really weird, but I live for these kind of dreams because a) they involve my favorite characters and b) they'll probably be the only form of intimacy I ever experience in my life.

Yeah I used to love them too.  I am sure you will eventually have real experiences too.  :-p

Some like him, and some don't, as is the case with pretty much everything, but he does well with suspense and a little horror. I personally like his novel "Lighning."  "Fear Nothing" and "Seize the Night" are a two-part series that I also immensely enjoy. I'd recommend starting there, if you're interested. :) Dean was actually my own inspiration to begin writing.

I'm guilty with this too.
AAagh. Great job though. You perfectly put into words everything that happens with that in my mind.

I always find it interesting when a phrase or word can be used for two entirely different things...that can be contradicting.  Much like how the word twilight represents both the Dawn and the Dusk.

I enjoyed this piece.  Sometimes pulling out old work can inspire new ones.  At least in my experience.
