Sink a blade into the seamed veins

What Have I BecomeThey say just to let the emotions flow,
Is the secret of poetry,
The art within the writing of words,
Of placing the letters, carefully,
Not to be shy of filling the blanks,
Just defining what you know,
To use your feelings,
And to decorate the sheets,
But how can I write,
When all I feel,
Was ripped away,
By a force that I cannot describe?
When my core is a void,
And I cannot avoid,
Feeling nothing at all...
How am I supposed to choose,
The words that used to come,
By night, my quiet saviours,
Now lost within my soul,
Empty eyes,
Roaming the sky,
Searching for...
For this feeling of inspiration,
That I once cursed,
But was blessed with,
Now

Restless Ghosts and Sleeping LanternsHush my child, don't you fear
The monster's arms will comfort, dear
Lie inside the warm embrace
And dry the tears that track your face

Listen closely to the breeze
That whispers words between the trees
In the dark they'll gently comb
And call you swiftly, safely, home

Smile, darling, shut your eyes
And hear the witches' happy cries
Feel the kindness of their light
The fire licks the coming night

When you're shivering to the bone
Remember, sweet, you're not alone
In the cracks that cross the ground
The beast will keep you safe and sound

Shh my love, no need to weep
I'll sing to you until you sleep
Nothing's scary as it seems

I'm weaker than you.I'm weaker than you.

So what?

That does not
Give you the right to laugh at me,
To beat me up and spit on me.
Where all I can oppose you with
Are the tears running through my hands,
disappearing in the ground.
But you are doing it nonetheless.

You succeeded.
Not much left of me.
So stop?

No, you don't.
You're enjoying your superiority.
For you it's just a game, a prank.
But you're turning me cold.
All I can do is collecting
those frozen tears of hate
But you continue nonetheless.

You'll never stop.
I can't do anything.
So wrong!

Even so
all your life you laughed at me,
Beat me up and spit on me

EarthMountains
Crumble to dust;
Ocean waves part fiercely-
What an amazing world that we

The GiftThe Gift

I came to give you a gift I said as the night shift
As the wind blow the tree swift
You looked at me and did a little sniff
I looked back at you and started at the cliff
If and only if you knew what it was
I will treat you like heaven dose to a dove
This gift didn't cost me much
Just a few dollars no big bucks
Then you looked at me kind of strange
And you think I hope he didn't go to the dollar store and used a few change
I looked at you and handed the gift
And by your looks you looked stranded
I walked to quickly and explained the attire
You just threw it down and set it on fire
I looked at you and called you a liar

Forgotten DreamsI'm so tired
eyes nearly closed
soon to be sealed tightly for dreams to be exposed

Can you see it?
the way they drop like wilting flowers
the lids gently caressing
coaxing my mind into sleep
by cutting off the world

I want to sleep so badly
it is just out of reach
due to the constant thoughts running me in circles
through my head

What of tomorrow
or the next day
am I ready to face everything

Or will my non-existent world come crashing down
shattering into what used to be

Letting the cold seep into my bones
surrounding me with lost memories
and forgotten truths

But my eyes are still drooping
unable to heed the warnings of

I long for hope that burns inside of me
Because there are so many things that I've never seen
So many places that I've never been
So much beauty that has yet to begin

During the winter season on a night very cold
Where the frosty breeze sends shivers down your spine
I met a little boy on the road decades ago
Who looked at the time to be about eight or nine.

I saw him aimlessly wandering from afar
Dodging cars who simply passed him by.
Judging by his ripped clothes he had many scars
And a pair of the most pained blue eyes

Now normally I would have just continued driving.
Who the hell cares about this little ploy?
Its tough enough in this world surviving
Without striving to care about some little boy.

For I asked myself if I was in his shoes

but you're still just as beautiful as last time
your long hair flowing gently in the breeze
red, orange, and brown mixed to make a silky curtain of colors

It's been too long since I could sit and relax with you
hot apple cider flowing warmly down my throat
keeping away the slight chill you sometimes bring along

Your delicious earthy smell almost overwhelms my senses
with a calmness no one else can give me
I've missed your soft touch against my cheek
gentle hands pushing back my hair

The sound of your voice is a flurry of air
through leaves that have yet to fall
the crunch under foot while we walk hand

Words.

Words that I type...
Type out and erase
Over and over
Again and again...

Sometimes they feel like my very life...

I've poured my whole existence into those words.

I couldn't make them any deeper...

Like they are connected to me..
Deeper than blood...
They mean more than the blood I would lose...

Like I can't do anything more than to,

My legacy?
The only thing people would remember?

Could they feel what I felt then?
Through the words written in my own blood?

Maybe tears would mix

yours is a flavor most divine.

A royal treat of humble reign,
enjoyed by all who ache with pain.

Fatty grease licked off of fingers,
has a taste so exquisite it surely lingers.

With a crunch, a moan, and lastly a swallow,
bacon is still delectable without a trace of marrow.
